AOL Instant Message Buddy Icons:

Taperkat was nice enough to write up the directions for how to get an AIM Buddy Icon from this page. Here's how you do it.

1. First, figure out which icon you want.
2. Then right click on that icon and go to 'save picture as'
4. Save it somewhere easy that you won't forget where you saved it (like on your desktop) and name it something easy too.
5. Go to My AIM (at the top of the buddy list), Edit Options --> Edit Preferences. and a window should pop up.
6. In the window on the left side you can find 'buddy icons' listed. Click on that.
7. Let everything load. then click the button that says 'browse PC'.
8. When that window pops up find the picture you saved earlier and click and select it.
9. Once that loads up, hit OK.

Also, under each image is the HTML you can use on your web sites to link to these images or add them to your IM if you need to. Older IM versions and Trillian users will not be able to use the HTML. Use the directions above instead.
